The plants we send and how they are packed
Unpacking
- When your plants arrive, plaese unpack the box immediately.
- Be sure to carefully unpack all the layers in the carton.
- Remove the straw or shredded newspaper (This is used to pack the viod and keep the plants safe in transit. This can go in your compost bin.
- Please note that a strong, healthy root system is the most important feature of the plant; damaged foliage sometimes occurs in posting, Cut off any badly damaged leaves.
Watering
- Check each pot to see if it requires watering. Water those pots which are dry.
Planting
- Place all plants outside in good light (but out of hot, noon day sun).Please plant them as soon as you can as the peat free compost drys out in the pot very quickly.
- If you cannot plant them straight away please leave place them in the shade so they do not dry out too quickly in the pots and remember to keep watered.
- Check the website or label for the ideal conditions the plant requires.
Postage and packaging
We send out the plants at least once a week, usually Tuesday using Parcelforce next day service. For arrival on Wednesday or Thursday.
The cost is £10.00 for a box up to 20kg (up to 30 plants)
The cost is £20.00 for 20kg to 40kg (up to 60 plants)
When ordering you can leave any special delivery instructions where the courier can leave the package if you are out, although a signature is preferred for insurance purposes.
